Upcoming Trip Itinerary

This year we will be offering four Grand Tours of Sicily (subject to interest). The 2026 dates are as follows. 

April 26-May 3, 2026
May 30-June 6, 2026
October 3-October 10, 2026
October 11-October 18, 2026

Day one: 

• Arrival and check-in at the hotel

• Welcome dinner at the hotel to kick off the journey

Day two: 

• Visit to the Medieval town of Monreale in the morning

• Full day guided tour of Palermo

  • Palermo Cathedral, Quattro Canti (Four Corners), Piazza Pretoria, Piazza Bellini, Local Market

• Dinner at Pizzeria Mileci

Day three: 

• Departure for Sagesta, home to some of the oldest temples in Sicily

• Visit Erice, a charming medieval hill town

• Visit Cantine Scavone for a wine experience

• Overnight at Villa Favorita in Marsala

Day four: 

• Visit the Saline in Marsala

• Visit the Florio Winery, the oldest Marsala wine producers in the world

• Cooking class and dinner at Villa Favorita

Day five: 

• Departure to Roman Villa del Casale, famous for it’s mosaics

• Continue to Ortigia (Syracuse)

• Overnight stay in Syracuse

Day six: 

• Departure to Taormina to visit the theater

• Free time for lunch and exploration

• Return to Magaggiari hotel

Day seven: 

• Visit the Failla Market for souvenir shopping

• Visit the Carini Castle and stop for a Medieval style apartivo

• Farewell dinner hosted at Francesco’s home in Carini

Day eight: 

• Breakfast at the hotel

• Transfer to the airport for return to the USA
